Food Grade Packing
STYLE 6000EXP is made of 100% white expanded PTFE yarn. It contains no impregnate, has no lubricant, and has no finish treatment. STYLE 6000EXP is designed for use in valves, but can be used in other low speed services. Fast and simple to install with minimum maintenance requirements. STYLE 6000EXP can be adjusted very finely and reduced to extremely low levels. High chemical resistance, very low coefficients of friction. STYLE 6000EXP is suitable for valves and pumps used in food processing, pharmaceuticals, paper mills, fiber plant, where high purity and corrosion resistance is required
Application Areas:
STYLE 6000EXP can be used in centrifugal and rotary shafts, reciprocating applications, and valve stems, sliders, mixers, vessels and pumps, power industry etc.
Application Media:
suitable for pharmaceutical and food applications, potable water, solvents, oils, gases, effluents, oxygen etc.
Not Suitable For:
Molten alkali metals and fluorine compounds at high temperatures and pressures
